Emma's Story

I remember back when my sister first got accepted to Ravenwood School of the Magical Arts. I was only eleven then. There was an old man with a talking bird that randomly popped in our dining room during dinner that night. He said he had been watching her in his crystal ball for some time and thought that she had great potential for becoming a powerful wizard. I thought it was a bit creepy and all, but my parents were proud and Miss Elizabeth Sparklebreeze left and went to a boarding school on a different world for the first time ever... which I would hope for the first time. I never remembered her going to different WORLD before.

She would come back after semesters when she was on break and tell of these marvelous stories (sarcasm intended) of experiences she had. She had loved becoming a Thaumaturge and spending time in her classes and all around Wizard City. She had gotten to study abroud for weeks at a time in worlds called Krokatopia, Marleybone, Grizzleheim, Mooshu, and Dragonspyre. She said she had lived in her dorm for around 6 months and then moved into a Wooded Cottage. Stayed there for a year and then moved again into some sort of giant igloo. Which she called an Ice House.

The thing is... I never believed her.

Then one day while she was home visiting. It was the night after we went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 that something like Deja Vu happened. We were eating dinner, Liz home (in her weird clothes of course) when the same old man popped in our dining room just like he had 3 years prior.

This time he was watching me while he spoke. Trying to avoid his gaze, I ate my watermelon slowly watching the juice on my plate slowly make its way toward my burger. Finally, he announced that he wanted... no NEEDED me to attend Ravenwood School of the Magical Arts.

My response was "No, I'm not going to turn into my sister. Magic is her thing. Not mine."

"But you have the potential to save Wizard City. Of course your sister must have told you of the dark times we're in?" the old man responded.

I looked at Lizzy. She was doing the same thing I did to observe the old man's gaze. Huh, must run in the family.

"No sir, she didn't."

"Elizabeth, you're one of our top students. How would you fail to mention that to you're family?" He said.

"I-I didn't want to worry them Headmaster Ambrose."

"Well you can't keep such information from them... Emma, please would you reconsider it? Wizard City needs you. Your sister needs you. And if this doesn't stop soon, your family will need you to save them. All of the spiral could be in peril."

....The what?

"Fine, but as of now, I'm not happy about it."

That is how I, Emma Sparklebreeze, came to Ravenwood School of Magical Arts.

Merry Christmas

Today is the day that I'm going to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas!
Christmas is all over the spiral. People are dressed in red and green with their holiday wands and can't forget their decorated dorms and castles!
I hope everyone picked up their present from the Headmaster which was a string of colored lights a couple days ago.
Where are you spending Christmas in the spiral?
I'll be of course waking up on Christmas in my Ice House, but will be spending the rest of the time in Zafaria. No truly white Christmas for me this year. Sunnyyyy Zafaria.

Happy Holidays everyone!

View on the Spiral so far

Merle Ambrose found me in the Spiral in January of 2008. There were no houses, no crafting, no gardening, no pet talents, no mounts, no Grizzleheim, no Celestia, no Wintertusk, no Witsteria, or Zafaria. Noone even had a voice! So much has changed since I started studying ice here. And all this change has been crazy awesome.
When I was a mere level 17, I bought my first castle (right after housing came out). I bought myself a lovely wooded cottage. It was small, yet it was my home. I took so much time decorating it and making it the best it could be. Then when I was deep into Dragonspyre, I finally had enough to buy my ice house, which is where I have resided ever since. I love my Ice House, and I don't have the time or money to buy and decorate more than that. Why would I? My ice house is a prized possession of mine.

Now onto worlds:
Wizard City:
I have had mixed feelings on WC. I loved it when I was there, but I also didn't know there were multiple worlds in the spiral that you get to go to. Going back when I was levels 30-40 I couldn't stand it. It was such a childish world. Everything was really just... annoying. Now when I go to WC, I thoroughly appreciate the creativity that it has to offer. Plus you can't hate a place where you sometimes live when you have classes to take.
Krokotopia:
My least favorite place in the spiral. Yes its cool but I got soooo tired of being inside a tomb pretty much the entire time. The smell kind of got to me a couple times. The mummies really have a scent of death, and it is not appetizing.
Marleybone:
Opposing many oppinions of this place, I actually really really liked it. I love London back on Earth and it just embodies that. Since the world is based on Sherlock Homes, it just has such a good vibe to it. It is really cool to see a early 1900s based world. I love it, even if you do get pulled into random duels because of the lack of sidewalks.
Mooshu:
Such a world full of life and so beautiful and bright! It is a great world to go to after the darkness of Krok and Marleybone. It is so pretty! plus you get to duel against NINJA PIGS! :) Woo! Jade Oni too! We get closer and closer to finding Malistaire.
Dragonspyre:
We get to go to a world with Cyrus Drake! The myth professor... YAY! He is so kind and is my favorite companion in the spiral!... not. But hey, I got over it. We will like to see and defeat many draconians and ghosts. We get to see dragonspyre when it was pretty and ride a drake up to defeat Malistaire. Its a world full of lava, not too favored for the one who likes the cold. Although defeating fire people is so good for me :)
Celestia:
Celestia oh Celestia. This world was so difficult and challanging that you can't help but adore it. It took so much stratagy and thought, you really learned to be a better wizard just through experience. It was a great world to have to work through.
Zafaria:
Although I have not completed the main story line of this world, I would say that it is a break from the monster of Celestia. Maybe because Celestia was so hard, that we know the right strategies that makes Zafaria so much easier.

We'll save the side worlds for another time... I'm lazy
See you in Zafaria!

UPDATE

Hey guys. Long time no see. Well it just so happens that it has been a really long time since we last talked on Halloween. There has been so much that has happened.
  1. Celestia. Done! well main story line at least. This makes me incredibly happy. I will have to go back and do side quests but hey. At least im on my way.
  2. Level 58 Spell: Got it. Took like seven tries to defeat that boss for the Ice diamond. He's pretty tough. YEAH SNOW ANGEL!
  3. Zafaria. Working on it. Currently main questing it, but to record progress I would say that I am currently in Stone Village. or Stone Town. Whatever it is.
  4. Level 68 Spell: GOT IT! WOO! I've got the Wooly Mammoth and every Ice Spell out there as of right now. So excited! This guy was not nearly as hard to defeat as the guy I had to for my level 58 spell
  5. Master Artisan? ....no not yet. It took me so long to get the ore to transmute the diamonds when they weren't harvested. But I have finished the rings and have 1 of the 2 cloaks that i need to make. All I need is 9 frost flowers and 4 black pearls and I'm SET!
I have been working really really hard here lately since I broke my foot and have had to ride my faithful dragoness everywhere. Awful for physical activity yet awesome for my questing. I can't go for early morning jogs around the Iceburg or around Ravenwood when I have a class. It's so disappointing. But my dragoness is faithful and does so much for me. I really am grateful. She does everything from making sure there's a fire lit in my room in the morning so when I get up I don't freeze in my Ice mansion, to getting the mail, taking care of my plants, and even cooking for me. The best caretaker out there. For real. I don't know what I'd do with out her.

Until Next Time

Long Time No See

Hey all Wizards!
I appologize for how very long it has been. Sadly, I've been super busy. I've barely had time for my magical classes. Some of my assignments are late. OOPS! Well yes, I am going to fill you all lovely people in on what has been going on in the life of Lizzy the Wizzy (me).

First of all. I have been out in the real world. Since school started  my studies at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts has taken a backseat. Two Advanced Placement classes, two honors classes, and two extra curricular activities that take up 25 hours a week does not leave much time for doing homework let alone Ravenwood homework, gardening, pet training, crafting, main questing, and side questing.

Luckily, we have arrived at Fall Break and now I have a chance to catch up on all I have missed out on. Or at least what I have and haven't written about.
I am back at my Ice house. it was fun spending some time at the summer cottage, but I was glad to have the spaciousness of my Ice house back.
I replanted my garden here which is nice. I think I just did some basic Dandelions, Tiger Lilys, Evil Snow Peas, Honey Sickles, and Red Bell Peppers. They seem to do better on the ice.
Wysteria is old news, but I think that is awesome! I love the Harry Potter references being the Harry Potter freak that I am. I did complete that back in August.
I am still in the Floating Land. MAN I AM LAZY. I've been there for so long. I need to get out of there and on to bigger and better things. But I don't want to do that right now, so I am writing this post.
Maddie is still at the status she was at.
Halloween is only a couple days away and I hope people dress up for the holiday. This is a great holdiay here :)
If this hasn't been updated I am now level 57 so only three to go before legendary!
I am on the second of the master artisan crafting quests.
I'm a master gardener.
Hopefully everything will be much higher by the time one of these posts come again.
Here are a couple pictures that show the time that has passed since we have last talked:

Wysteria: I decided to go alllllll outt :)
Happy Halloween
Until next time.
See ya later,
Lizzy the Wizzy
P.S. If you didn't catch on, the orange is for Halloween. :)

Greetings (The Blogs Version of a Post Card)

Aloha!
As you guys know it is summer, and what better way to spend your summer than in The Floating Land? Just head on over there and soak up the paradise! I decided to take my newest pet, Princess Brandy, on over there, so as a baby, she can see as much of the world as she can. I love vacationing everywhere throughout the spiral. There is always so much to do. I don't have time for it all! Well have a lovely day! I miss you.
Sincerely,
Lizzy Sparklebreeze

Confession Time. I Procrastinate

Hey guys,
It's time for a confession. Lizzy the Wizzy procrastinates way too much. I have plenty of things to do, like Helgrind Warren, Winterdeep Warren, the Stellarium, BriskBreeze, finding runestones, troggs, that last yardbird, those pesky lounging lizards, and soo many bosses in Celestia and Wintertusk. I even have a spell I need to learn! I have so much I could be doing, but what do I choose to do? I choose to read my multitude of books, dance with my pets, take Maddie to the pavillion for a dance lesson, run around Dragonspyre looking for ore, and worst of all spend time rearranging furniture even though I like the way it is. Ok running around for ore has a purpose; I'm still trying to become a Master Artisan. Oh if only I could do things when I needed to. I feel really unproductive most of the time. My bud Nicole PixieCatcher is even level 29 now, and my sis Emma Sparklebreeze is level ten! Well, I'm even procrastinating now by writing this entry. BAH! Well here's a few pictures I took while procrastinating, hope you enjoy my unproductiveness... It's probably a good thing only couch potatoes watch TV. Where would my priorities lie then?

See ya in the Spiral... Well maybe.

Summer Sweats

Hey wizards!
The temperature is rising for the long summer and it's about time for us wizards to take a vacation. We study year round at Ravenwood, and we just need a break from the work. Today, I moved into my summer home, just because I was tired of the cold of my Ice House and Wintertusk. Don't get me wrong, us Ice Wizards love the cold, but I needed some sun and water that would be a safe temperature for swimming. It isn't much but I have a few pictures from the summer home.
Overlooking the cottage.

Campfire for hanging out with friends and spending time with my beloved pets.

She came to say hello and join the party.

Looking up on the cottage

My dragoness hanging out on the picnic/grassy beach area.

I can't help but do some work while I'm here

Main Floor.

Summer Bedroom.

I hope you like it. A few days here and I'll be set to go back to Wintertusk and endure the cold for quite a while. Summer classes in Ravenwood are the best. It seems that people are actually more focused in the heat, it's so different than earth. Plus you don't really have to look to far to get some homework help. Ohh the reasons I love this school.

See you in the Spiral!

Elizabeth Sparklebreeze is Too Long of a Name to Write

Hey World Wide Web Wizards,
I'm Elizabeth Sparklebreeze, and welcome to my blog. Today, I just want to touch on how wonderful the spiral is. It's so diverse and beautiful. The only problem is all the problems going down in each world. Luckily, the Spiral has us.

I think I may let you know a bit about myself so you can kind of get to know me a little bit.
Name: Elizabeth Sparklebreeze, but you can call me Lizzy, that's what I write on my assignments for Professor Greyrose that is. It is just too long to write. I'm Lizzy the Wizzy.
Level: I'm a level 54 grandmaster currently.
When I started attending Ravenwood School of Magical Arts: I started attending here almost three years ago. Whew. A lot has grew and changed, but I work really slow, and I have taken semesters off.
Schools: I am enrolled in the Ice, Fire, Balance, and Moon schools.
Names of my closest buds (alts): Nicole Pixiecatcher, Lenora Dreammender, Olivia Duskdreamer, Llewella Fairytail and actually my sister Emma Sparklebreeze is starting school here soon. Bleh! Who wants their little sister at school with them trying to tag along?
My main pet: My ice colossus Maddie. She is amazing. She isn't the rarest out there, but she pulls through when needed. She's pretty young, only a teen. Her favorite snack would be Meat Soup. She loves it.
World(s) working in: I'm currently studying in Celestia and trying to help out in Wintertusk. But if you ever want help in other worlds, just talk to me and I'm more than happy to help out.
Where I live: I don't live in the dorms anymore, I'm out on my own in an Ice House that I bought with gold. Oh my, that thing was EXPENSIVE! Oh and I have a summer home of a Wooded Cottage.
Mount: I have a Faithful Dragoness mount that I ride around everywhere. They're now retired so she's extra special to me.
Goal for this year: I want to craft a Watchtower Hall. They are just incredible!

Well that is pretty much me in a nut shell! Have a lovely day! See you all in the Spiral!
